Here in the DC area, at the light, or in the gas station, I'm always surprised when someone walks over to talk about the old Porsche. They never can believe it's 25 years old and want to know all about it. And btw, I don't think you like P-cars very much. Never heard anyone call a 930 "run of the mill." I don't think a "run of the mill" 930 exists.
I live 15 miles from downtown DC, where I commute to work everyday. I have owned a 88 Carrera, 97 Carrera, 2008 Carrera S and currently own a 2009 Carrera S and a 1983 SC club race car, so clearly I love these cars, I just don't expect anyone else, especially females, to be impressed by them and am usually not disappointed. And it's true 930s and the other turbo models do nothing for me.
