Volt guage
Well it looks like I may have purchased a bad alternator. This morning while driving back from returning the core the volt guage shot up to 14 then down to 10, its now sitting at ten. I don't appear to have any power issues, the battery still cranks strong, and I can rull all of the accessories including the A/C and nothing dims out or stops working.
So either my guage is going nuts, or the new alternator is bad. BTW I am getting 11.66 volts across the battery terminals while the engine is running. Guage or alternator?
