I watched a bit of this, and it is so stupid and staged that I had to stop.

Stock or close-to-stock furrin' cars (like a WRX sti) against $100k+ resto-mod American cars having 500+ hp. And they don't hesitate to use ringers when they have to. In order to beat a Lambo they brought in a pro (well.... Kenny Wallace, but he is a pro).

I don't see any of the "redneck" cars being typical of the breed, unless Chip Foose is heavily discounting his work. These redneck "street" cars would look at home on a grid of Rolex-series GT class cars, but these have bigger engines.

Btw, I didn't watch the show for long, but I didn't see any Porsches or Ferraris. I can't help but wonder how Reaper930's "Blackbird" car, driven by someone like Boris Said, would do against the "redneck" cars.
