Well, I just found out it's a 67 911S targa. All original except some fool painted it eggplant (aubergine). Original color was green.
Reportedly it will start and run but the tires are flat. I asked about rust and she said there are a few rust bubbles on the paint but that's all she knows about. She said there wasn't any rust on the floors. I'd have to check that for myself.
Evidently the guy bought it a long, long time ago and never got around to fixing a few minor things so it just sat under the cover.

At that time I (or anyone else) probably could have bought it for under $25k.
Then about a month ago I started the thread below about it, they put it on e-bay and it sold for $71.3k and it was not in operating condition. Granted the 67 has a soft rear window and is vere rare, that might have added to the price.
