It is years since I have flown a Cub but I would think that it is the trim adjustment.
The purpose of this is to take the pressure off the elevators and make the aircraft easier to fly. I don't know what engine is in that Cub - could be anywhere between 60-85 hp. The best is the Super Cub which has 150 hp. Piper Cubs are some of the most fun aircraft. You have stick control and you are lined up with the propeller which makes you think you are in a fighter aircraft. Nice video. Thanks for sharing...
