The green shielded wire connects the DME coil drive signal from the DME /ECU output pin #1 to pin #1 of the 14 pin connector to the ignition final stage coil driver pin #1.
The shield connects to pin#14 of the 14 pin connector.
I would strip back a inch or so of the green wire insulation. Separate the the shield from the center conductor and strip the the center conductor insulation. Solder a short jumper to reconnect the center conductors and separately solder a jumper to reconnect the shields . Using electrical tape insulate the center conductor from the shield solder connects you just made. With this wire cut you will not drive the coil driver and therefor there will be no spark.
