Getting back to the original question of how to deal with someone with a suspect reputation...
The user in question has a bit of a google problem. If you search for his name full name on google, you'll uncover questionable dealings with other cars being sold on other boards or ebay where others have complained about him. This isn't just flipping... it is people calling him dishonest.
I think it's legitimate to bring this up on the boards as a word of caution to others who might deal with him in the future.
