Hyundai? Warranty? ...laughable...

I used to provide a monthly service to a Hyundai Dealer Parts Dept and EVERYTIME I was in there I saw what seemed to be new cars having MAJOR work done.

I.E. timing chains, head gaskets, transmission service etc. etc.

So, after a year of scratching my head I ask my contact (service manager). ...WTF.

He responds, "It's part of their scheduled warranty maintenance." And further explained that if you didn't perform/pay for these big ticket items your fancy 100,000mi warranty would be voided by Hyundai

What a deal
