Always a bummer to almost finish a jigsaw puzzle and find it has missing pieces.
Got a cheap picture puzzle on sale at the grocery store. It had seven pieces missing and 3 doubles. That was really weird. Not sure about jigsaw quality control, but how do they know there are missing pieces, count them. And then if there are missing ones, do they replace them any extra pieces they have laying around?
Another one had all the pieces, but there were 3 extra pieces of wildly different colors obviously from another puzzle.
Assuming these cheap puzzles were made in China, what sort of weird mind trick or joke is this supposed to place on us American consumers besides making us not purchase that brand of puzzle again.
