Are you crazy? No, but I'm not sure about planning five years out though. Fuel might be thirty dollars a gallon and the cost of shipping could be just as insane. My wife and I toured southern France, Italy and Greece in a rental two years ago and over Chianti one evening, we decided that a Targa would be THE car for such a tour. It remains a dream....and will remain one unless the financial stars line up just right and the gods smile down on us, LOL. Best of luck with the dream
