Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. So far, there is compelling evidence that the "diatoms" published in the Journal of Cosmology article, in fact, represent fresh water contamination as they display numerous different species of diatoms already found on earth. Also, there is no chain of possession documentation to verify these samples as truly from a recent event.
