To answer the original question, most cars don't come with ashtrays anymore...and some people are oblivious to the effects a lit cigarette butt can have on the environment (living in Arizona, can you say brush fire?).

I'm a smoker; trying to kick the habit. Being in the Army for so long I think has made me a more "respectable" smoker. We stick our used butts in our pockets until we're around a trash receptacle where they can be properly disposed of. Habit carried over into my personal, civilian life. Car, I use bottles like Rick mentioned earlier. As far as having a "smoker's car" I've always gotten compliments on how good my cars look and smell; most people are beyond shocked to learn I smoke in my vehicles.
