Many moons ago, my wife (a doctor) was a resident, getting trained. Well due to some obscure ruling by the US treasury, its was deemed that residents should not be paying FICA. They are 'trainees'. Long story short, we unexpectedly got back 4 years of FICA from my wife's residency!
Good for a new roof anyway. And perhaps a Sig 556
