Well for me, i cant imagine running up to redline on this motor, makes plenty of vibes above 4k rpm, and i find Im short shifting, depending on the mood and ride, using up to 6k, But not had it long, and just getting into it, so yes riding the torque curve mostly at present...
Perfect for a set of sprockets me thinks...:-)
