One of the most bittersweet things in life...cleaning out the old house after both parents are gone. Little things do it to you. I opened a closet. On the inside jam were pencil marks, names and dates in mom's writing. Then the memory of she having my cousins & I stand there as she measured our growth over the years.
I broke down...couldn't do any more that day.
