So after a long silent moment starting at the car tonight .... and a nice pour of scotch to calm my nerves I got the courage to start cutting into the rear fender of my perfectly good 911. Hours of measuring, adjusting, pushing , pulling all climaxed to the first cut. It was an event. Once I saw the lower metal start to fall and the top flare drop into place like most say it does I stopped and had another drink. Realizing what time it was and that I didnt want to light the torch up to later turn it off and not be finished I stopped. Sunday ... Sunday feels very good and I feel much better. A few pics of post cutting.
