I have wondered if there are wireless mikes for CB's using blue tooth. I have a CB in my Jeep Commander and use it on occasion for direction info to get around a accident. I bypassed the mic and I just use it to listen.
I don't have a CB in the 996 but have a Sirius Radio. I mounted the antenna which is very small under the plastic cover near the wiper blade mechanism. It blocks some signal but it is not exposed. I am not sure if a loaded CB antenna would fit in the same location.
Do you still have to pass a code test to legally use ham gear?
