Janet, it's a curse and blessing at the same time. Nobody at works takes me seriously until they find out how old I am. Before that, they think I am the young punk who makes up going to business school and doing all the career stuff I have accomplished. Big pain.
Flip side, I feel better physically than I did when I was in my 20s. I work out and eat much better than I did when I was younger. I took my physique for granted back then. All the young dudes hit on me. Only two men have hit on me since I have been divorced within two years of my age. One went to high school with me so he knew my age, and the other thought I was 25 and when he found out through a friend I was around the same age as him, he gave me his number.

But I guess younger dudes aren't anything to complain about...
And Glen, I agree with you. I have more fun with every decade. Janet, there comes a time where you don't give a sheetz. You do what you want because you realize somebody is always gonna say something. And that's where the fun begins.

I don't get it when women get all mopey. Maybe I will eat my words when I turn the big 4-0 in a little over a year but whatever. Everybody gets old. I would rather hang with the old person who might not be able to move as fast but still has fun than the younger person who sits on their duff being mopey about being older. So whoop it up, girl!
