Now that's funny. There are pretty regular police shootings where scores if not hundreds of rounds miss their targets or hit innocent bystanders. I'd say they all need more training, shortage or not. How many rounds did those LAPD cops fire at the wrong two pickup trucks without even verifying vehicle make, model, color, occupant gender and race and that any of them had a gun? Those cops won't lose their jobs or do a day of jailtime for that either. And the resulting lawsuits could have paid for a lot more ammo and (much needed) training.
