Another interesting side note to this trip ...
When driving 80+ mph, the sidewalls of my front tires are catching the fenders when I hit dips in the road (lots of rough areas on this trip). Back home our roads are pretty nice so there is no way I could have anticipated this problem - and our speed limit is only 65.
My father's SC has the same rim and tire combo (16x7 Fuchs / 205 45) but hasn't had any issues. Probably because he has more negative camber than my car.
Just wanted to throw that out there for others considering a trip into unknown territory. Make sure those tires won't rub!
