Milt how are you good of you to chime in The soffit vents on this house are a little different because there are several jogs to match the roof line. But as I studied this I think I can fit from the outside a vent and slide the 4 " pipe/elbow/whatever that I will have to fab. The fan has a back draft valve and I may add one in line in addition to the soffit vent for bathroom fans that Home Depot sells that also has two slats that close when the fan is not running. For the climate here that should be sufficient. By the way the bumpers are holding up great
