Not as light as it would have been if I'd gone with Campy.
I've never been a fan of Shimano. I've had too many STI shifters fail just sitting in a bike rack in the off-season.
I rode Campy Record on all of my steel frame road bikes for 20 years but today's Super Record is super expensive for no benefit other than it's Campy, IMO. On the other hand, I'm very impressed with SRAM.
BTW, I've got another new steed on the way: Ridley Helium/SRAM Force to be my main workhorse. I'll post pictures when I get it.
Now that I've spent time on carbon bikes, I'm thinking that all steel bikes belong in museums
