car is not a S35k car.
I'd place it on the Haggertry list a little above the red line.
Its had one engine rebuild and one nice repaint over 25 years ago.
no rust its a 20 footer.
the 2nd (current) owner raced it at the local drag strip (Carlsbad).
It ran 14.4 stock.
He removed the rear sway bar and bolted traction bars.
It 60 foot better but handled worse.
Sway bar goes back on...
Race carb and headers it ran 13.3 106mph.
It has the stock 12 bolt with a 4:10 gear.
Cold started and idled nice.
The cam cam/flat tappets seemed quiet me.
But my wingman expert said it was all there.
The replaced stock parts are in a box.
Test drive soon. Maybe the Barona 1/8 mile?
Should make rpm fast with the 4.10 and 2 people in it.
