I bought a steel frame from Menard's, reinforced it in the center, put a 2' x 8' x 1" sheet of HDF on top, and topped that with two 2' x 4' 16 gauge sheets of steel, which I epoxied to the HDF and used an epoxy appliance paint on top. The spots where the presses are mounted are reinforced with steel plate on the bottom.
I highly recommend getting an Inline Fabrication mount for the press if you cannot get a sturdy bench built. I have had that press pull bolts with nuts attached through a 2" x 12".
