Education is good!....
My wife and I were sitting on the couch a couple of years ago and she was reading an article in Time magazine. After a little while she turns to me and says, "This is YOU!".
She was reading an article about a guy that has Asperger's.
Since then, I've visited a doctor, done lots of reading, and taken several tests. I'm 51 years old and have always felt "out of place", and have even commented to my wife that I feel like I'm on the wrong planet. (Ironically, there is a website for people on the spectrum called
Wrong Planet - Autism Community).
There isn't a cure for Autism, but educating yourself about it makes it a little easier to deal with.
