I always sorta liked the things.
A buddy had one (I forget which year) and in the late '60s we'd go flying over the sheety hwys and byways of south Louisiana - every time he tried to pass a semi (at very high speed) the thing would oversteer as he pulled out and he'd correct it while we part way along the side of the truck. We both thought that was great fun...
I posted because I'm reading a book on 15 cars that changed American culture or something like that - I've just started the Corvair chapter.
