Investment?
Just curious as to how much everyone has invested in their car? I've had my 944 two years and this is what I've done:
Engine rebuild, radiator, condensor, water pump, belts, plug wires, 4 tires, updated wheels, wheel bearings, brakes, windshield, paint, AC retrofit, recovered seats, upgraded stereo, alarm, steering rack, struts, engine mounts,
performance exhaust, and a few other minor things. The grand total (including purchase price) is around $20,000. One thing leads to another, and before you know it, you've spent a small fortune on restoration. Could have had a 951 or even an older 930 for that much!
