The'res a law here in California that the headlights need to be 24" or more off of the road.

Mid 1959 California Chp Officer busted a kid on it. Kid takes a look at the 1959 Chevy CHP car and it comes up short. 23 1/2" EVERY CHP car got new springs! If I met the guy I would buy him a beer.


Like I said...they stopped doing the minimum headlight thing when I started driving in 72. They just went after the low hanging thingy.....at least in NE LA...

Oh and it's 24" from the center of the headlight. Just sayin'......
