Yep... carry on bag is $30 each way (one small personal bag that fits under the seat is free but the overhead bag is not). They even charge for a bottle of water. That said, they have always been the cheapest airfare I could find from Detroit to DFW whether I book the flight several months in advance or 3 hours prior to departure.
