Don't forget, if the 996 prices drop to the $10-15K range, first gen Boxsters will have to price around $4K lower, as they too suffer from the same IMS, RMS problems as their big brother.
2001 996 Cab. 15K miles --- LN engineering bearing upgrade and RMS seal replaced proactively at 12K. (single row bearing looked perfect when removed). Also replaced clutch while in the neighborhood.
