Another notable sociopath was Neil Armstrong. No emotions. No empathy. No fear. He was chosen to land the Eagle on the moon for those very qualities. The other guy in the capsule (Aldrin?) was freaking-out as the Eagle ran out of fuel some 50 feet above the moon. Armstrong didn't lose it, didn't panic. he just viffed it sideways until he found a rock-free place to set it down. When he reported that the Eagle had landed the Houston controller said, "We're all breathing again." Armstrong was basically a non-violent psychopath. Emotionless. Emotions confuse them. Surgeons are the same way and that's why people complain about bad bedside manner. Bedside manner is emotion and you really don't want an emotional surgeon, do you? If Armstrong panicked they'd all be up there today, inside the crash-landed Eagle because Neil freaked at the last moment. Why are so many wealthy men a-holes? Because they are sharks. While others are being held back by conscience or other emotional restraints the shark swims in and steals everything for himself. (Yes, herself too.) That's why we tend to dislike them. Don't they care? No. They thrive on not having to care. It is their strength. It's how they win.
Not defending it, just explaining it as I see it. Stay clear of the hungry sharks.
