Thanks guys, I did a bit more research and have identified a few possible culprits... MAF sensor, brake switch and maybe voltage regulator and or alternator.

I will try and identify when it happens if it happens again which I suspect it will. The volt gauge is not acting funny so I will check my brake light to see if they're working and take it from there.
