What the hell, did you live down the block from Springsteen and supply all that inspiration for his highway songs?

Had a lot of fun with that car. Lived in Staten island back then. We had one service road near the end of the Staten Island Expressway. Had a 1/4 mile laid out all painted up with a start and finish line with checkerd flags painted on the road. Only bad thing was the run off past the finish line was pretty short so you had to make sure you had good brakes! Every once in a while the cops would have the manhole covers turned upside down so before we made a run we had to run down and flip them over.

Later on, I put another motor in with a tunnel ram and dual 600 Holleys. I'll try to dig up some pictures tomorrow. I started building a 440 for it , but never got the chance to drop it in before i sold it.
