WOW!! what a great look back to a really memorable era. Hard to believe the carnage they were driving through in the morning. Cars sitting along the track for the rest of the race. The pits being open to the track looks crazy. Clearly the track had not been developed as quickly as the cars. The long tail body works especially for Le Mans are distinctive. Courious lack Ferraris to be seen.

I camped between the white house and the pit entrance on the outside of the track in my one visit there. Great experience.
