Most of my writing is so technically dry by design...It's been a long time since I stretched some of these muscles. Feels good...
I know what you mean about the eggs... My folks haven't raised animals in years but, my MIL has Bantams up in Lake County. We always leave a visit with several flats.
There's also a local chicken farm that sells eggs by the flat as well. THat's where we primarily get ours. All of the chickens are free range. There is definitely a difference in the richness of the yolks.
However as anyone who has raised chickens knows...yes, they eat the bugs and the rotten fruit and the grubs................They also eat chicken SHI feces and each other.. Nasty ass creatures but, I do love me some fried eggs..
