A good friend of mine owns an '06 330 with 55k on the clock that he bought new. $6000 in maintenance in 6 years for all kinds of issues and he thought that was typical. This doesn't even cover the warranty work that was also done. We bought an '08 Lexus IS350 a couple of years ago. The car now has 55k on it and I've changed the oil a couple of times and replaced front brakes myself for $60. That's it. Fast, luxurious, maintenance - bullet proof. No check engine light dramas of my Mercedes or other BMW's I've had.
