Is it the 2.2 trans shift pattern? Maybe look up the VIN to see what body it is? You can always sell the 2.2 to an early car owner and get a 3.0 or 3.2. Check Pelican, eBay & others to get some comparison prices. Get PPI before buying and the PPI can help with the value question. Call the local PCA chapter for recommendations. BTW: If you get the car and want to upgrade the motor look at getting the complete motor & trans to know your starting point. Also, you will get a better deal on the motor & trans purchased together instead of separately. If the 2.2 trans is in the car, it is much better to upgrade the trans with the motor and sell the 2.2 gear as a pair for more $$$. I should have gotten the 87K 915 trans with my ROW 3.0. Hindsight is always 20/20.
