Well the guy turned out to be a flake
Turns out that picture was taken BEFORE he let the bike drop and cracked the fairing, broke out the turnsignal and bent the fairing supports. You think he might have mentioned that in his ad.
He said he was getting it repaired. When I asked for details on the repair he sends me this email:
"I feel like all I'm doing is answering emails and trying to sell stuff. Nothing is selling, nobody wants to pay a fair price for anything and I'm sick of it.
I'm not a salesman...never have been. When I bought this bike, I went to look at it, the guy checked out my riding background and tossed me the keys. I went for a ride and half an hour later I was throwing down money and I couldn't stop giggling. I overpaid...and I've never regretted that once.
This clinical, technical discussion I'm having online with people is completely missing the point of this bike."
I think I will pass on this one.
