Question: did the blower motor problem and the cooling fan problem show up at the same time? If not the blower problem is likely a separate issue. I had that happen recently and the relay for the blower had a bad connection in the fuse box where the relay plugged into the board. That being said, I'd see if you can replace that relay to check the blower issue.
When you replaced the fan switches are you sure that you used the proper temp range? the thermostat has a specific temp range and the fan switch should match that. I was concerned that mine weren't working so I watched the temp gauge moving up to the second white mark and kept my fingers crossed (a/c off). Fortunately, the fan came on and the temp dropped. If it was the wrong value it either would have come on at a different temp and possibly much higher temp, or not at all.

Some people try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.
