Hi my BMW 316i se 2004 ,mileage 82000 intermittently keeps cutting off at stops , while drving or when slowing down without any warning light or signs but would start instantly when i turn on the ignition key.I have also noticed that at times when driving uphill the rev gauge wont go up when on 4 or 5th gear and acceleration is sluggish .When at stops or at idle the rev gauge comes way down and then picks up with a stalling engine sound until its above 500rev and gets back to a normal smooth engine sound.Please advised and help , the car has been to the mechanic who could not pick up any faults during the diagnostic test.The rocker cover seal and oil cap has been changed due to an oil leak , throttle cleaned and reset , clutch switch also checked but the problem remains
