My last couple of hard drives have been a mix of Seagate and WD. The only drives in the past that I have had trouble with were Maxtors (now Seagate.)

Most modern drives are of similar quality and price. I wouldn't have any problem going with either Seagate or WD. Just make sure the specs match up to the listed specs of 2.5" SATA ATA-5, 9.5mm thickness and you will be golden.
