Sadly, with that title issue I would balk at the car for anything but parts - unless I had in writing from my local DMV or state govt that there will not be issues with unmatched vin #s.
Its really unfortunate but I could see some poor sap spending 14,000 and getting the car home and not being able to title it - or worse getting legal trouble over the deal.
Highly suggest any interested parties get both vins and run both through whatever auto vin checkup you use, Carfax etc. Vin stuff like that scares me, personally, especially being a grey market car.
According to rennlist its now on eBay, bid is at 9000 and I pray to god the poor bastard who made that bid read the part the seller buried at the bottom about the vin. Idk if that's even legal to sell in most states...
