At $21k -- with low miles and the original Fuchs wheels included -- he got a smoking deal.
It is worth noting that he bought it on Ebay -- not from the old lady whose husband just died and sold it without knowing what it was worth.
I am chuckling at the poster who wouldn't buy a car from a guy who put aftermarket rims on the car because that somehow says something about the prior owner. They aren't my cup of tea, but that is just a taste thing. Perhaps he wanted larger wheels for handling reasons -- and you can only buy Fuchs at smaller diameters. He kept the original wheels, and offered them with the sale.
The ad has some extensive receipts -- many of them for parts from Pelican -- indicating that the guy likely turned his own wrenches on the car, and made a lot of upgrades. That would be an indicator that he didn't neglect maintenance on the car.
Assuming the valve guides are not burned up, the current asking price is not out of this world. Good for the seller.
