I have Swepco oil improver, do you think I'll be ok to use the NAPA oil with the addition of the Swepco (in proper ratio of course)? Otherwise I'll order a case of appropriate oil on line.

I orignailly said.. "I have no idea what is in SWEPCO oil improver but it is doubtful it will raise the ZDDP level in an oil, more likely a viscosity additive." I looked it up in the SWEPCO Website (
http://www.swepcolube.com/products/swepco-502-engine-oil-improver). It does raise Zinc by 175 ppm when you add 1 pint to to 5 quarts. Plus it adds Moly.
IMHO, you can get to the same place by mail ordering a decent oil or get Dino Valvoline VR-1 oil (
Valvoline.com > Products > Racing > Racing Motor Oil Racing > VR1 Racing Oil (VR1)). Most FLAPS will be able to get it or you.
