on my 99 you need an E12 torx socket and your favorite female contortionist.
slide the seat forward and back to access the 4 front and rear nuts. unplug the sensor wires (not easy sometimes) and lift the whole seat out.

I hear that the alarm system under the passenger seat will also need to be dried out.
