The trick to not letting the other leg tear the CCL is RESTRICTING the dog's horseplay - running fast and turning hard. Every situation is different but the other knee just doesn't go....it goes when the dogs does what it did to injure the originally injured knee. Over-doing it. Don't ask me how I know..
