You'll maximize your response here if your story involves a flower shop, a 6 carat diamond, a 930 in perfect condition, a fiance from the Valley who doesn't need ornaments the way her trust fund baby girlfriends do, and the story of why you really want to give her a rock she can display proudly amongst her shallow friends (even though she's really not like them).
Just do it. Trust me on this one.
