I still wouldn't mess with it. That's a mean looking snake but in Aus we have BIG brown snakes. A long time ago I saw one and its body was about as thick as my forearm... Maybe 8 feet long, big head and a mean disposition. People say if you leave them alone they'll leave you alone. Sorry but that hasn't been my experience with our Browns. They are aggressive and will peruse you if they feel threatened.

What's that movie were right at the beginning the main character gets bitten by a Rattler and treats himself on the spot? He then puts the rattler in a cloth bag. From memory he says "why did you bite me" or "why did you do that?" as he puts him in the bag.
