Is your wife's name Mary, if so then the user profile might be corrupted? If msconfig does not find anything, use regedit and do a search for 'Mary" and then delete as necessary. I am guessing it is some sort of malware. If nothing is found that way, set msconfig to allow you to walk through every startup item as the computer starts up to see what might be causing this.
