D, know exactly how you feel, my best friend is my Hubby, so talking "ladies" stuff is not really the option.

Other friends are just not as close as Hubby.

I do have a lifelong friend who is back in Oz, you know the kind of friend you grew up with, but we only get together every few years. Although I did have a love long chat to here on fb a couple of weeks ago, funny even though it has been ages since we talked, its like we are still kids, and we do know each other very very well, even though we have grown up got married and had kids etc, we "come" from the same background and grew up from grade 1 together until the end of high school so we really know each other well.

It is lovely to chat to her, my Hubby and kids always think that we are just jibbering on about 5hit, but we really love each other and it is so nice to talk to her about ...5hit!
